My name is David King. I am a 20 year old Graphic Designer in training. Art and graphics has been a part of my life as long as I can remember. As early as primary school, I was getting in trouble from my teachers for covering every inch of my notebooks in doodles and drawings. As I grew, I began to focus my creative drive into artwork such as pencil drawings, paintings, sculpture, photography and pastel.

It was in high school that I discovered my love for graphic design. I worked on my high school year book for several years, and co-edited it once. I discovered that I loved the challenge of being presented with a problem or target and using my artistic skills to find a great solution. But the biggest thrill I get out of design, is knowing that my creative work is going to be 'out there', as part of the world, with a practical application and not simply sitting in someone's home or a gallery.

I am currently studying graphic design at York University and Sheridan College in Toronto, Ontario. My goal is to someday make a career out of my design that I will truly love.
